nbc-new-singing-show-and-the-winner-is.jpg

We have a winnah!

NBC has just green lit a new and exciting show that is bound to BLOW. YOUR. MIND.

Say hello to their little friend…

…A brand new singing reality show called The Winner Is!

Because sometimes The Voice just ain't enough.

The new show will add a novel twist to the singing show formula like this: If a contestant does not think their singing was up to par, before they know what the judges think, they can leave the show and get INSTANT CASH.

Woah.

Did they just say instant cash?

We're in!

If we can't have that special Christina Aguilera / Adam Levine sexual chemistry, then money is the next best thing! LOLz!

Holy crap - this man is unstoppable, isn't he?!

Tyler Perry has reportedly signed a NEW deal with TBS for a THIRD TV show, a dramedy called For Better or Worse, which will reportedly be based on his Why Did I Get Married? franchise!

The series, which will the flick's original castmembers Michael Jai White and Tasha Smith, has been greenlit for 10 episodes, and if the ratings are impressive enough, 90 more will be ordered!

According to TBS, TNT, and TCM's Executive Vice President and Head of Programming Michael Wright:

“Tyler Perry’s series have been tremendously successful for TBS, helping establish the network as a prime destination for African-American viewers. Given such a remarkable track record, we’re excited for the opportunity to expand our relationship with Tyler Perry and Debmar-Mercury with the new series For Better or Worse.”

Perry continues:

“Even though it will be sad to say goodbye to House of Payne, I’m really looking forward to exploring new territory with For Better or Worse. Working on House of Payne taught me a lot about what it takes to make a successful television series and I’m looking forward to applying that experience to For Better or Worse.”

Here's hoping!

People really LOVE his shows, so we imagine if he just keeps up the good work, he'll have NO problem at all securing those additional 90 episodes!

Best of luck!

What do U think?? Do U want to see For Better Or Worse?

Exciting TV news for fashion fanatics!

The September Issue director, R.J. Cutler has signed on to executive produce HBO's upcoming half-hour comedy Spring/Summer.

Tea Leoni is already attached to star in the show, which is "set in New York City against the backdrop of the fashion world".

Sounds very Sex and the City-esque, but with a stronger focus on fashion.

Will U watch???

The Hobbit Gets A Greenlight!!!!

updates_on_progress_of_hobbit_movie__opt1.jpg

Yes!

It's actually happening!! We can hardly believe it!

Sources have confirmed that The Hobbit has been greenlit and will officially start production in New Zealand this February.

Finalized just this week with MGM and Warner Bros., Peter Jackson has agreed to direct, produce, and write the two-part series.

The film has had several setbacks, including director Guillermo del Toro leaving the project, labor disputes, and even a fire destroying parts of the set that had already been built.

This is great news! Now let's just hope filming goes much smoother than pre-production.
