David Letterman is pretty quick to nab hot-in-the-news peeps for his legendary Top 10 lists, and this week he grabbed University of Louisville's point guard, Kevin Ware!

If you remember (you've been having nightmares for the past week about it, don't lie!), Kevin was the one who broke his leg during the Midwest Regional final against Duke, shattering his shin so hard that it burst out of his skin. Now, he's everywhere talking about it, and even got to present David Letterman‘s Top Ten List Thursday, detailing the ten thoughts that ran through his mind when his leg exploded (above)!

It's gross, yeah, but his sense of humor and resiliency is amazeballs! Check it out!

Basketball isn't one of those sports that everyone assumes is super dangerous. It isn't like NASCAR, and it isn't contact-related like football. And still, things like this happen!

Kevin Ware of Louisville suffered one of the most horrific injuries in basketball we've ever seen. He was landing after contesting a shot when he shattered his lower leg, and his shin shot out of his skin and flesh.

We're not even being one ounce dramatic here!

The game was stopped, obvs! Apparently one of the only things Kevin was saying was something about winning the game to his team — now THAT's dedication!

CBS decided to stop showing replays of the injury after showing it twice, and Kevin has since had emergency surgery. We hope he gets better soon!

It's been a heck of year for Rose McGowan!

Not only has she ruptured her ear drum, but now she hurt her foot for the third time in the last four years!!

The Charmed actress injured her foot when she was on a quad bike, and now she's rocking the shiz out of her black cast as she was seen frolicking around West Hollywood yesterday making her injury look good. LOLz

A big BOOT like the one Rose is wearing may not be very Vogue, but since she matched her cast to her cute cardigan, we have to say that she's one well-dressed injured bombshell!

Antonio Bryant, former NFL wide receiver, was arrested recently for the alleged strangulation of his baby mama!

A warrant was issued for his arrest in South Florida after a domestic violence incident that apparently happened back in April.

Paul Callahan is a quadriplegic who is also a paralympic sailor.

When Paul was 21, an undergrad at Harvard, his whole life ahead of him, he slipped on a wet floor, broke his neck and was paralyzed from the chest down, retaining the use of his arms but not his hands.

He originally spent 5 years going from rehab to rehab, trying to be able to walk again. Eventually doctors convinced him that it was time to stop dreaming of walking and start actually living.

So that's what he did.
