loading...Cindy Crawford Opens Up To Oprah About Her Marriage To Richard Gere
It's been 18 years since Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere divorced after four years of marriage.
But, now, the supermodel and mother of two is opening up about their relationship and what role their huge age difference played on their eventual separation.
And of course, who better to talk about it than to Oprah??
On OWN's Oprah's Master Class, Cindy opens up about being only 22 when she married 37-year-old Gere back in 1991, saying:
"I think I was more willing at 22 to be, like, 'Okay, I'll follow,' but then you start going, 'Well, I don't want to just follow — I want to lead sometimes and I want to walk side by side sometimes.'"
She has since moved on and started a whole new life with restaurateur Rande Gerber and their two children, but we'll never forget the original superstar couple of the '90s! They were the Brangelina of their day!
