It seems like some people aren’t too happy about Selena Gomez’s photo shoot in the July issue of Elle.

The boobilicious spread is a far cry from Selenita's good girl Disney image and since she has a younger fan base, she’s catching some backlash.

Gomez explained:

"Honestly, I do understand that I have a younger fan base, but I also have a fan base that’s my age and that I kind of relate to. I am getting a little older, but it’s not anything that I’m not proud of. I think it was very classy. It isn’t anything that I wasn’t comfortable with. I thought it was beautiful — I loved it.”

The singer/actress will be 20 in July, so isn’t it time to let her grow up? No one wants to be stuck in the “teeny bopper” stage forever!

Woah.

Modern Family's Sarah Hyland was almost unrecognizable at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

The 20 year old went for an uber mature look with a nude Max Azria dress.

For how young she is, this definitely wasn't the right choice. Sarah should have been more like the ladies of Glee and had more fun with her look.

The bangs were also WAY too overpowering and should have been pulled back.

Now this is what we like to see!

Miley Cyrus managed to surprise us last night when she arrived at the American Music Awards.

The almost 18 year old looked all grown up in a lovely Marchesa mini dress. We're not crazy about the long bow and train, but we'll let it slide.

She also went easy on the extensions, which is an amazing feat in itself.

Overall, well done girl!

Here's to hoping the sophisticated Miley is here to stay!
