Break out the vino people, because Kobe Bryant is here to stay!
After tearing his achilles tendon in a nasty season-ending injury against the Golden State Warriors, people began to wonder whether or not the 34 year-old baller still had any gas left in the tank.
Well the Los Angeles Laker legend heard the retirement rumors and took to Twitter to weigh in on the issue:

Anyone watching basketball this season knew two things almost right away.
The Los Angeles Lakers weren't winning the NBA championship.
And LeBron James was undoubtedly going to win his fourth MVP award.

Tough break, Derrick Rose!!!
NBA's shining superstar MVP tore his ACL Saturday and won't be able to play for the rest of the season.
The former Memphis Tiger suffered the injury with just a minute left to go in the game!! Crazy!!
Ugh! The Bulls have to be in agony right now!!!
Get better D-Rose!! Good luck next season!!!

National League MVP Ryan Braun, who caused controversy after testing positive for a banned substance, wants to clear his name.
The Milwaukee Brewer was originally thought to be using performance enhancing drugs, like so many other of MLB players have in the past, but an investigation revealed the positive test results were due to a medication he was taking.
It's still unclear what the medication was and why he was taking it, but he's eager to talk about it. When asked about it recently, Braun declined to comment, but said:

Looks like Michael Jordan is playing favorites with his old team!
His pick for MVP of the year is Chicago Bulls’ point guard Derrick Rose.
Said Jordan:
”He's the MVP for the season. He deserves it. He's playing that well. And if he doesn't get it, you'll see how I felt a lot of years.”
Hmm, humble much?
Rose is averaging 24.5 points per game, but who knows if he’ll get it or not.
Tweet us UR pick for MVP!

Yes, we are surprised too!
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is getting married to THIS summer to his girlfriend Ashley Harlan.
A copy of their "Save The Date" card reveals the couple will be tying the knot in Pittsburgh on July 23.
We are happy Big Ben has finally found a woman to settle down with.
Hopefully this means Ben really is a good guy and we won't be hearing about any more…umm…less-than-favorable accusations in the headlines after this.
Congratulations, Ben and Ashley!

Kobe Bryant had a fabulous weekend!
First, he imprinted his hands in the concrete outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater, then he held a super-exclusive all-star party at the Boulevard 3 club in Hollywood, and then was given the MVP award for the NBA all-star game.
All in a days work!
Said Kobe after receiving the trophy:
"It feels great, being at home here and playing in front of the home crowd. This will be my last All-Star game in front of these home fans, so it feels good to do it."
Congrats, bb! You deserve it!
