We cannot believe that this has become as big a deal as it is!
Now that the Parents Television Council has essentially lost their shiz over the recent Glee photoshoot for GQ for what they claim is bordering "on pedophilia," and "sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on 'Glee' in this way," the magazine's editor-in-chief Jim Nelson has responded, and he's - rightfully - pretty baffled!
"The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy. As often happens in Hollywood, these 'kids' are in their twenties. Cory Monteith is almost 30! I think they're old enough to do what they want."
Exactly! We don't get it.
They could have been photographed completely naked and it still would be okay, because they're ADULTS. And how is it a new concept for actors who play high school students on TV to be sexualized?
And finally, has the PTC actually WATCHED Glee? It gets away with some pretty racy shiz!
Just because the characters sing popular songs and dance around doesn't make it a kid's show, people! Time for a reality check!
What do U think?? Is the GQ controversy justified??
