What a crock of luck!

Yoann Galeran, a french sailor in Australia, narrowly escaped death by fighting off a crocodile who had latched onto his head!

The sailor was swimming to recover a dinghy when he felt something on top of his head.

It's a sad fact of life that some people are AWFUL to animals!

We have no idea how someone could see an animal and want to do anything other than kiss and hug them and give them treats all day long!!

But some terrible people just don't have souls we guess.

No matter what sort of abuse was thrown at these animals, they kept on surviving.

So we celebrate these survivors who beat the odds even when life (and some terrible people) tried to keep them down!

Bo, a shepherding dog lived on his owner's rural Wyoming property.

One day, Bo made his way onto a neighboring family's property and started raiding their chicken coop.

So the neighbor's 18-year-old son grabbed his rifle and shot the dog twice, grazing his cheek and then shooting him in the back.

The young man thought the dog was dead so he asked his father what to do. His father told him to burn the dog along with the chickens the dog had killed.

WOW!

A crazzyass pair of goldfish lasted an incredible 134 days in earthquake-hit New Zealand without any pet food or electricity to power their tank filter.

The two fish, named Shaggy and Daphne survived in their 26-gallon tank in the reception area of Quantum Chartered Accountants in Christchurch, where the earthquake struck.

When the people that work in the office were Daphne and Shaggy live earlier this month, they were shocked to find the two fish alive and well.

Was it the strong will and fighting sprit that kept them alive?? Nope — it was poop.

Some experts say bacteria in the tank may have kept the water clean enough to sustain life.

The fish have no memory od the events.

WOKAY!

We've heard of animals surviving some purdy steep falls, but this kitty surviver really must have 9 lives.

Gloucesterthe 16-year-old cat survived a breathtaking 20-story plunge from an Upper West Side apartment window with BARELY A SCRATCH!

"He didn't even chip a tooth or break a bone. I usually call him 'G,' but he's Super G. He is Miracle G now,"

his thankful owner, Barry Myers, 44, said yesterday of his amazing kitty's crash landing onto the pavement.

Gloucester's vet agreed, saying:

"He's lucky to be alive. Most cats would die outright, or suffer serious injuries. He made a miraculous recovery."

Myers mistakenly cracked the window open about six inches at his Lincoln Towers apartment before he left for Cape Cod with his wife and 5-year-old son for the July 4 weekend, never thinking that "G" could or would squeeze through.

We're sure G will make a speedy recovery… and possibly start fighting crime!

Do you see revenge in her eyes? You should!

This little kitten used up one of its lives when it miraculously survived being thrown from a car that was crossing a bridge in New York.

And we didn't know monster's could get a drivers license in NY!

The callous act took place on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, which towers 228 feet above the Hudson Bay. But luckily for the cat, an Animal Care and Control Officer who was driving a short distance behind saw what happened.

Incredibly some helpful truckers used their rigs to block the traffic and create a safe lane while the AC&C officer picked up the kitten, which had been thrown against the bridge's safety barrier.

It was a close call, but the kitty — named Verrazano — got clean bill of health by its vets.

Animal Care And Control is hoping witnesses will come forward and identify the car that the kitten was thrown from.

Ouch!

A cat called Hope has miraculously survived being blasted by around 30 airgun pellets, during a wave of senseless shootings across the UK.

Hope's owner found her bleeding and near to death and at first it was thought she'd been attacked by a dog because her body was ripped and torn.

But when she got to the vet hospital, X-rays showed that she had been peppered by around 30 shotgun pellets.

Vets' staff managed to remove about 10 pellets but some were left in case worse damage was caused removing them.

Hope's biggest injury: a fractured toe.

Police are looking for the shooter, but at this rate we think hope will be the one to seek revenge.
