Chef Ramsay is in the hot seat after an undercover video exposed some serious animal cruelty at a foie gras factory which supplies one of his restaurants.
Carrie Underwood is a champion for those who cannot fight for themselves: the animals!
We previously mentioned that a bill had been passed by the Tennessee legislature that would force whistleblowers to release undercover video of animal abuse to the police within 48 hours of capturing it.
The problem is that animal rights activists say that 48 hours isn't enough time to show an ongoing pattern of abuse.
Because the bill was passed, it's now up to Governor Bill Haslam to sign it into law or veto it.
We previously mentioned that there has been a lot going on in the world of politics regarding ag gag bills.
These are laws that would make it illegal to undercover document animal abuse and not turn it over to police within 48 hours.
The problem with the law is that 48 hours doesn't give an undercover whistleblower enough time to gather sufficient evidence to show a pattern of constant abuse.
Well Tennessee lawmakers have recently passed a similar bill and Carrie Underwood is very disappointed!
