Researchers detect radiation in tuna caught off Oregon coast... even though the Fukushima disaster was back in 2011!!

This is pretty scary. Radiation from the 2011 Fukushima disaster in Japan has spread throughout our oceans.

Even though the nuclear power plant disaster was years ago, there are still irradiated fish swimming around. Some of those fish are delicious tuna, and some of those tasty fishies are being caught off the coast of Oregon!

A study of the fish, led by Oregon State University, looked at 26 Pacific albacore tuna caught between

Ancient Platypi Platypuses Are Larger Than We Thought!

The most interesting type of science is platypus science!

Everyone knows this!

So it's super inneresting to learn that the largest platypus ever known used to roam Australia 15 million years ago!

A team of paleontologists out of the University of New South Wales in Australia found the new species, dubbed Obdurodon tharalkooschild.

The animal is now thought to have been able to grow to twice the size of a modern platypus, larger than previously estimated.

The craziest part is it's all based off of one single fossilized molar!

That's super impressive! Way to go, science!!

Check out the video (above) to learn a little bit more about this new find!

ZomBEEs Invade San Francisco!!!

No, that's not a typo: zombees are invading San Francisco!

That's zombees not zombies!

A parasitic fly is infecting honey bees, making them act oddly… like zombies.

The Phorid fly injects its eggs into a honey bee where they'll eventually hatch into larva and begin to eat their way out of the bee!!

These parasitized bees go crazy and leave their hives at night and fly at lights and do other weird things most normal bees don't do. (Bees never fly at night.)

Thank goodness a scientist at San francisco State University is on the case!!

What's cool is you can help!

If you notice bees by you acting strange, you can help with the science.

Just go HERE and follow the instructions on how to join in on the experiment!

Get out there and science some bees!

Check out the video (above) to see some freaky, infected zombees!

Deformed French Bulldog Pup Helps Kids With Facial Differences

Sometimes, all it takes is a cute, 5-month-old, ten-pound puppy to change your outlook on life!

Meet Lentil, the French Bulldog puppy who has been raising awareness of children with craniofacial abnormalities, such as a cleft palate or cleft lip.

Little Lentil had both a cleft palate and a cleft lip!

Thankfully, Lentil's owner took him to the University of Pennsylvania's veterinary school and got his cleft palate fixed.

They left his cleft lip because it was only a cosmetic problem.

Now, with the ability to eat and drink on his own, Lentil has been helping kids to see that even if you have a different face, you can still lead a normal life.

Heck, you can be even cuter than anyone else!

Just look at Lentil! Is he not just painfully adorbz??

He's even got his own Facebook page with almost 100,000 likes!

Check out the video (above) to see Lentil doing his whole therapy pet thanggg!
