After winning the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego last month, Tiger Woods just kinda faded away.
After his disappearance from the PGA Tour after that win, he will apparently be returning in a whirlwind of golf games.

Fab news, fab cause!
Venus Williams has taken up the fight to get fair pay for women at Wimbledon, and it's caught the eye of award-winning director Ava DuVernay!
Ava will be making an in-depth documentary about it all, called Venus VS, and it'll be broadcast on ESPN in 2013. We'll all get to see it!
Like we said, this is a cause that SHOULD be taken up, and we hope with all this attention that something will finally be done about it!
Keep up the good work, Venus!

We didn't even know there was a "lobster world series."
No, people don't pit lobsters against one another in a tiny death arena, they cook them!

It seems like more and more keeps happening each day in the Olympics!
The Summer Games are still going strong and Team USA is doing its best to catch up to China in overall medals.
China has 73 total (34 gold) while we have 70 total (30 gold).
Team GB is now battling it out with Russia, as they both have 48 total medals. Though Team GB does have 22 gold and Russia has only 10.
The medal counts seem like they're growing exponentially!

How do you know when you've made it??
When you appear on a cereal box!!
Gabby Douglas, gold medal winning American gymnast, is on a Kellogg's Corn Flakes box!
Congrats, Gabby!
Gabby is represented by Sheryl Shade, the same agent who turned Shawn Johnson into the media darling she is today.
Expect to see a lot more of Gabby!
Way to go, gurl! You've made your country proud!
USA! USA! USA!

Holy shizz!
We hope you aren't wearing tight pants, because your tennis boner is about to lose control!
We had no idea he was about to do this: Roger Federer has surpassed Pete Sampras for the most weeks at No. 1 in the ATP rankings!
After winning Wimbledon a week ago, Federer started his 287th week at No. 1 — one more than Sampras.
Here's what he said:
"[I'm] extremely proud and honored to have beaten Pete's record as he was my childhood hero and I have always looked up to him."
Cool beans!
Congrats on Wimbledon, Roger!
