650 Pound Virgin Regains His Weight

Struggling with weight sucks.
It happens to more people than it doesn’t, and it gets exponentially harder with the bigger you get.
David Smith knows this game better than anyone.
He used to way 650 pounds, then he lost 400 of them. Now, he’s gained it all back.
And it only took three years to put it on again.
In 2009, David Smith was interviewed by Matt Lauer on Today and talked about his 400-pound weight loss. But what he didn’t understand was how hard it’d be to keep it off, especially with the new found attention he was getting for losing the weight.
Here’s what he says:

“All my life I was this monster in my head and all of a sudden to be this good looking guy, it blew my mind away, I didn’t know how to deal with it.”

So even though he was fit, had a new job and a new girlfriend, he was a mess on the inside and turned to alcohol and drugs to cope.
But they didn’t help like food did. His ultimate addiction.
He continues:

“A lot of people were counting on me to be inspiring, and I didn’t want to let anybody down. But I just felt so bad, I didn’t know how to cope.”

This is NOT the end for him, though: he’s determined to lose the weight again, for fear of his own life:

“If your foundation isn’t built up, you’re just going to crumble down. Unfortunately, I fell down, but I know I can climb back up.”

Unfortunately, about two-thirds of dieters regain more weight than they lost after four or five years.
It takes confidence and commitment!
Do it for your health, your happiness, and your loved ones!
