Trace Adkins' Tiny Daughter Saved Her Dogs From A Fire

When a fire ripped through country star Trace Adkins‘s family home in Brentwood, Tenn., in early June, the singer’s family ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ which includes girls MacKenzie, 13, Brianna, 9 and Trinity, 6, ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ lost everything.

But thanks to the bravery of daughter Brianna, their two dogs survived the blaze, which was caused by a faulty power strip beneath Adkins’s workbench.

When the fire started Adkins and his wife were not home, but the nanny and their daughters escaped quickly, but Bri had to go back for her dogs.

“A neighbor tried to stop her. But she wouldn’t be stopped. They’re her puppies. [Brianna] has severe allergies and this is one of the only breeds that she can have.”

Adkins explained, adding that he is so proud of his little hero.

The fire destroyed most of the family’s home, but doesn’t bother Trace. He feels lucky to still have his family and his home.

“We’re good. We’re fortunate. We don’t have any room to put stuff ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but we don’t have stuff anymore!”
