Talk about a friendship goals moment!
Dakota Johnson had plenty to say about her complicated dating history during her Saturday Night Live monologue while hosting the show last night, but the real surprise came when Taylor Swift suddenly and unexpectedly joined the fun on stage!

After joking about her failed relationships during the opener, Dakota abruptly introduced her “literal therapist,” saying:
“I have really good friends. They don’t judge me, they’re really supportive. Ladies and gentlemen, my literal therapist.”
Enter Taylor! The unexpectedly hopped on camera and said:
“I’m not your therapist, actually. You just show up once a week at my house with an empty bottle of wine and ask if I want some… You flop on my couch and overshare and every so often I say ‘Damn, that’s crazy.’ And then you say…”
Dakota immediately jumped in with:
“Sleepover, yay!”
Taylor then delivered the ultimate friend-duty punchline:
“Then I give you Pedialyte and my security drives you home.”
LOLz!!!
The cameo came after Dakota had already been spilling plenty of tea about her romantic adventures. Reflecting on two high-profile splits, she joked:
“What else has happened since the last time I hosted? Well, I went through two very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians. [Now, I’m] looking for a third.”
And apparently, dating musicians comes with its own occupational hazards! She went on to note:
“Some of them don’t wear shoes, some of them are terrible in bed, but all of them are in my DMs. It’s not my fault, though. Some people leave concerts with merch, and I leave concerts with a two-and-a-half-year relationship.”
Dakota even claimed she was doing the public a favor by dating musicians, saying:
“Just quickly while we’re on the subject of musicians, I think actually I’m doing a public service by dating them, because, ladies, I am saving you a lot of money on Zoloft. So you’re welcome, America. And also England. And parts of Ireland. And Cleveland.”
The Cleveland reference prompted an “allegedly” gag follow-up, clearly a reference to Travis Kelce — and it sent the audience into a frenzy.

And then later Taylor accidentally got a little ahead of schedule, squealing, “It’s her birthday!” Dakota had already revealed that her birthday would arrive at midnight.
But Taylor made up for the premature celebration: during the goodnights at the very end of the show, she actually even brought out a birthday cake for Dakota! Awww! Now that is how you end an SNL episode with a BANG!
