Spartacus Actor Is Cancer-Free!

Thank goodness!
The super SEKSI Andy Whitfield, who was diagnosed with cancer in early March, is apparently completely finished with his treatment and has a clean bill of health!
Wonderful news!
His hit show, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, unfortunately had to work around his treatment for its second season, so producers chose to focus on a six episode prequel focusing on two other characters, played by Lucy Lawless and John Hannah!
Luckily, now that Whitfield is recovering they can segue right into filming the official new season! He’s expected to be back on set by October!
We’re thrilled to hear that he is doing so well!
