Good for them!!
Remember that 2022 Good Morning America scandal?? In late November of that year, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, co-hosts of the GMA spinoff GMA3: What You Need to Know, were caught being romantic in photos.
They were both still legally married at the time. Yeah. We’d later learn both were separated from their respective spouses, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig. But, you know, the network Amy and TJ were employed at was ABC, so getting caught like that while married — separated or not — ain’t great.
Shortly after their romance became public knowledge, both were removed from the program while ABC looked into the matter. That December, T.J. filed for divorce from Marilee. The next month Amy and T.J. were officially fired.
By March, Amy and Andrew were divorced. TJ and Marilee’s didn’t get finalized until October.

At this point, with both spouses officially exes, Amy and TJ went Instagram official and announced their new podcast, launching it a year after they were initially removed from GMA3. On their first episode they maintained they were both fully separated when they started their romance.
By October 2025 Amy and TJ were engaged. They wed just last month in a private ceremony in Arkansas. So they may have lost their jobs, but it seems the price was worth it for true love!
And same goes for their exes!
Andrew, 59, and Marilee, 49, started seeing each other in the summer of 2023. The Melrose Place alum/civic engagement advocate and the immigration attorney revealed via People magazine on Wednesday they got engaged this past spring,

Expressing gratitude, the former actor tells the mag:
“I had to accept my own part in marriage not working out for me and in not understanding myself well enough and not understanding what matters in a relationship well enough to find the right person for me, and that has been an extraordinary gift. Again, I don’t know how it happened, but I can say I’m grateful. I had to grow through a lot of pain and a lot of struggle and a lot of humility. I think the magic of love is when you go from a need to giving.”
Awww, we love that so much. He continued:
“It just happened. And you can say how it’s just this kind of freak luck that this is how you ended up getting to know that person in a way that would allow you to reveal yourself and for her to reveal herself. And this just happened to be a circumstance that allowed for that. I don’t think there was anything other than this just happened to be our way of getting to know each other and being able to share ourselves with each other in a time where we both needed a friend.”
Well cheers to the happy couple… both of ’em!
