Alan Ball Nabbed A Leading Man

As we previously mentioned, Alan Ball is hard at work for his new HBO pilot, All Signs of Death – and now he’s found his leading man!
British actor Ben Whishaw has been cast in the role of Webster Filmore Goodhue, a twenty-something slacker who becomes a crime scene cleaner, finding himself amongst a murder mystery, femme fatale and struggling with his own past.
Whishaw trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and has appearing in films such as Layer Cake, Bright Star and Brideshead Revisited.
The show will begin filming in August in El Lay.
