Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Children Must Change Schools 2 Days Into New UK Program -- Here's Why

Meghan & Harry's Relationship Is 'Tense' Amid Divorce Book Rumors: SOURCE

This is so upsetting. But it sounds like the parents are making the right call here.

According to a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, per People magazine on Monday, their children Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are changing schools just two days after starting their new year in the UK.

Citing security concerns, the rep notes:

“The decision for the children to move schools was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements. The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family. This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”

Harry and Meghan loved the school when they chose it, but of course it was closed for the summer when they made their decision to move back to the UK, so they couldn’t truly get a proper feel for it until classes started again. Now that they have, unfortunately, it’s just not the right fit.

While it’s not the update anyone wanted to hear, this may help the family acquire funding for security.

People magazine reports they’re also scheduled to have a “security assessment” now by an independent UK Home Office committee that decides which notable figures can access tax-payer funds for security provided by local police.

Wishing them all the best as they settle back in across the pond.
