For those who already binge-watched the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, prepare for your blood to boil! We now know most of what Zac Affleck wrote to Jennifer in that rage text!
During the show, their marital issues were on full display when the #MomTok group went to Las Vegas with Zac and Taylor Frankie Paul’s baby daddy, Dakota Mortensen. While Jennifer’s husband went to gamble at the casinos (which is a no-no in the Church), Jessi Ngatikaura organized a surprise for the group — the VIP experience at Chippendales!
Most of the girls were down for the idea. But Jennifer, on the other hand? She was uncomfortable about being around several topless men and worried about what her husband would think. Well, he did not react well! When the social media personality called Zac to tell him she was at Chippendales, he flipped out on her — saying he doesn’t want to be married to her for going to the show. Jeez! Mind you, she had no idea this was the activity. It was a complete surprise. She did nothing wrong. And instead of listening and trusting her, he completely overreacted.
Sadly, the situation only continued to get worse from there. Even though Jennifer, Taylor, and Mikayla Matthews left before the show began, Zac continued to go off on her – this time in the form of a nasty rage text. Ben Affleck’s cousin doesn’t read the message, though we do get a quick look at it. And it was loooong! Giving us only a quick synopsis, Jennifer shared that Zac made it seem like she cheated on him by merely walking into the building of Chippendales, telling her he was “done,” and “won’t be married to someone without values and morals.” He basically threatened her with divorce… for doing absolutely nothing wrong! What the f**k.
As we mentioned, we did not get the full details of the text message. But thankfully, one social media user did everyone a solid and figured out what it said. Buckle up, Perezcious readers. C’est La Vienna claimed Zac wrote in a video posted to TikTok on Sunday:
“Seriously, I don’t want to hear one more time about your heart. Start taking accountability for your actions and for the situations you put yourself in. Your [sic] a grown woman, it doesn’t matter your intentions. You were there, and that’s the image you portray of yourself, family, church etc. Everyone you represent on this platform.”
He then referred to the whole situation as the R-word before noting that another Mormon wife would have “never put herself in that situation.” Again, Jennifer had NO IDEA what was going on that night. He continued:
“The fact that we’re even having this conversation is sad.”
After that, the text is, unfortunately, too hard to read. The words “realize how dumb you…” can be seen. However, we don’t have the rest of the context. Watch the video (below):

And there was more from there! Demi Engemann saw all of the texts between the pair, and what he went on to say to her was jaw-dropping! Zac allegedly kept saying he was “done” with Jen. Jessi claimed he told her he doesn’t love her anymore. Just some really awful things to say to your wife — things most couples wouldn’t come back from. However, since filming, Jennifer told TooFab their marriage is “great” now as they have been doing “nonstop therapy.” She added:
“I really feel like we’ve healed from everything and we’ve been completely vulnerable and honest. It definitely needed to happen. It’s definitely helped us in so many ways. And I think at this point, it’s only just exposure therapy.”
Hmm.
We truly hope therapy has helped — especially Zac. Because what we saw on the show? What he texted to his own wife? It’s not OK. It was narcissistic and disgusting behavior. No one should ever be talked to the way he spoke to Jen. Reactions? Sound OFF in the comments section.
