Tom Brady isn’t good at goodbyes.
The retired NFL quarterback just revealed a shocking truth about his dog Junie… The pooch is a far cry from a shelter dog! It’s more of a lab! And we DON’T mean a Labrador!

Let’s take things back over a decade ago… In 2014, Tom and then-wife Gisele Bündchen adopted a dog and named her Lua. They lived a fantastic 9 years together, and in 2023, made the difficult decision to lay her to rest. See (below):

But before they did that, Tom collected a vile of her blood… to bring her back in clone form!
WHAT?!
In a press release obtained by People on Tuesday, the 48-year-old revealed that with the help of biotech company Colossal Biosciences, which previously acquired ViaGen Pets and Equine, he brought Lua back from the grave… kinda sorta:
“I love my animals. They mean the world to me and my family. A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed.”
He gushed that the company “gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog,” which they named Junie. That’s right, his dog is a CLONE of his late dog! He shared he’s “excited how Colossal and ViaGen’s tech together can help both families losing their beloved pets while helping to save endangered species.”
Uhhh, yeah, super rich families… who don’t care about all the dogs in need of adopting at their local shelters. Right??
This is so wild! What are YOUR thoughts here, Perezcious readers?? Would U get a clone of your dog? What if money was no object? Clone — or adopt a new pup?? Sound OFF in the comments down below!
