Emily In Paris Actor Dead After 'Sudden And Severe' Health Complications

Pierre Deny has sadly passed away.

You most likely know the actor for his role as Louis de Léon, the CEO of JVMA in the Netflix show Emily In Paris seasons three and four. Louis was also the father of Nicholas Léon, who dated Emily’s best friend Mindy in the show.

According to what the actor’s daughters told French news agency AFP on Wednesday, he suffered a “sudden and severe” battle with ALS:

“It is with deep emotion that we announce the passing of Pierre Deny, which occurred this Monday following a sudden and severe case of ALS.”

So, so sad. He was 69 years old.

Pierre’s career in TV started in the 1980s. He played on a French show called Julie Lescaut as Captain Philippe Kremen in the ’90s, which would go on to become one of his most notable roles.

Such a sad situation. We’re sending love to his family and friends. May Pierre rest in peace.
