D4vd's Disturbing & Graphic Sexual Photos With Murdered Teen Celeste Rivas Leave Her Parents Visibly Upset In Court

Our hearts break for the parents of Celeste Rivas

Friday marked the fourth day of preliminary hearing testimony in Los Angeles Superior Court for D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, who has been accused of murdering the missing 14-year-old at his home in the Hollywood Hills in April 2025. In the court that day, prosecutors showed a bunch of text messages and detailed more graphic photos of Celeste having sexual encounters with the 21-year-old singer, which left her parents so shaken they had to exit the courtroom.

According to People, they revealed D4vd and Celeste messaged each other about pregnancy and abortion when she was only 13 years old. She wrote on January 8, 2024:

“Both of us aren’t able to take care of it.”

To which the musician replied:

“I know but still.”

Los Angeles Police Department robbery-homicide detective Corey Farell added that the pair texted multiple times about abortion, birth control, Plan B, and breaking up. What’s more? Farell testified that more than 40 images of child sex abuse material involving Celeste was discovered on D4vd’s phone, including several pictures of the two engaging in sexual acts. Awful.

Prosecutors went on to detail those graphic photos, which reportedly visibly upset the teen’s parents. During the Farell’s testimony, Mercedes Martinez — Celeste’s mom — became so distraught that Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman encouraged her to leave the courtroom:

“This is too much. I know how hard this is.”

Ultimately, they took Silverman’s advice. And TMZ reported both parents exited in tears. We can’t even imagine what they are going through right now… How horrible…

Per People, prosecutors then claimed Celeste and D4vd started talking on August 8, 2022, when she was only 11 and began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when she was 13. Meanwhile, he was 18. A month before her murder, Celeste texted D4vd on March 14 to try to break things off with him. She allegedly wrote that “we can be friends online and I don’t want to have anything to do with you in person anymore,” adding:

“All we do is have sex and hang out man, I want more for myself, without a label too is insane.”

D4vd then allegedly replied:

“Yeah, boundry setting is terrible.”

But Celeste pushed back. She said:

“It’s not even that david. I want more than just that.”

We continue to keep Celeste’s family, especially her parents, in our thoughts. Having to hear and see all these horrifying details about their daughter… It’s devastating. And we truly hope they get justice soon.
