Jessica Shannon and Shyann McCant are officially getting a divorce.
As you may know, Jessica and her wife Shyann have been estranged for a while following their 2025 marriage, but last week Mama June Shannon fanned the flames — she accused Shyann of cheating on her daughter! She alleged Shyann cheated with a girl named McKenzie, who would go on to be her new girlfriend.
And, after it was all said and done, Shyann fully admitted to it! She said in her own post to Facebook:
“I take full responsibility for [cheating]. I’m not making excuses, and I’m not trying to change what happened. I’m also not saying I wish none of this had been posted. I understand that when I post parts of my life, I’m opening the door for people to have opinions.”

As this post dropped, she went ahead and filed for divorce from Shyann after just 10 months of marriage. Earlier this week, Jessica filed for divorced and listed their date of separation as June 1. She alleged in the filings their relationship is “irretrievably broken”.
Jessica petitioned to take back her maiden name, Shannon. The two also have no assets or debt to split, and haven’t made any filings for any type of spousal support.
Such a messy situation. Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
