'At Risk' Los Angeles Teenager Goes Missing - Cops Ask For Public's Help To Locate Her

A Southern California family is desperately searching for their teenage daughter, and authorities are asking the public to help bring her home.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, 16-year-old Paulina Ramirez (pictured above, via a police handout) was reported missing this past Friday, August 28. She was last seen around 8:40 a.m. that morning in the 4500 block of Dozier Street in unincorporated East Los Angeles — and then, cops say, she vanished.

Officials have described Ramirez as 5 feet 1 inch tall and approximately 108 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a blue polo shirt, black pants and a gold necklace featuring a cross.

The sheriff’s department says Ramirez’s loved ones are increasingly concerned for her well-being, per People and others who are covering this scary situation. Paulina’s family has reportedly not heard from her since she disappeared, and it remains unclear where she was headed.

Per KTLA, Ramirez’s family did not report any physical or mental health conditions that they believed contributed to her disappearance, either. And now, two full days after she first went missing, she’s still unaccounted for — and cops believe she is “at risk” and could be in danger. Ugh.

This is a terribly frightening situation for any family, and every piece of information could potentially help locate this missing teen.
