Relapse happens. The important thing is that he recognizes he has a problem and he is getting the help he needs.
Matthew Perry announced that he is heading back to rehab as of this week. The Friends star has had a history with substance abuse and has already been to rehab twice before for a prescription pill addiction.
Maybe the third time will take!
Matthew released a statement about his decision, using humor to alleviate some of the tension, but reassuring his fans that he is taking his situation seriously. His statement reads:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.├óΓé¼┬¥
Nothing to make fun of, Matthew. You have a problem and you working to fight through it. We applaud you and wish you nothing but the best as you try and better yourself.
