Along with many other deserving entertainers!
Every year the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee honors celebrities in film, television, music and radio by immortalizing their name on a Star on the Walk of Fame that will only fade when our civilization does.
In 2012, Jennifer Aniston is FINALLY getting hers!
Quite frankly, we’re VERY surprised it took this long! We would have guessed she already had one, considering her fame that grew since her Emmy-winning run on Friends, marriage to Brad Pitt, dozens of starring roles in movies, and of course, she’s a gossip-rag regular!
Better late than never, right?
Other movie stars finally getting a Star as well include Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Scarlett Johansson, and Malcolm McDowell.
Jennifer Lopez, an actress who is better known for her music career these days, is also receiving a Star as a recording artist, along with Barry White, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, and Boyz II Men!
Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons, is joining the television alumni on the Walk of Fame with Batman Adam West, Law and Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay, and Valerie Bertinelli.
Congratulations to EVERYONE being honored with a Star! Check out ALL of the recipients being immortalized next year after the jump!
