That was fast!
Skype announced on Monday that they were pulling the iPad app because it was released prematurely. On the company’s Twitter account, they posted this:
To ensure your best Skype experience, we’ve temporarily removed Skype for iPad which went live prematurely today.
We know you’ve been eagerly awaiting Skype for iPad and apologize for the inconvenience.
After many sad iPad user faces, the company released the app a day later with the official announcement: “Finally, Skype for iPad is now available.”
Woo Hoo! We can finally wipe those tears away and enjoy the 2-way video calling we’ve been waiting for!
