As England’s future Queen, Duchess Catherine has a lot to learn. She’ll be trained in every form of etiquette and diplomatic formality. Right now, we imagine she’s going through rigorous training to ensure that she can walk, talk, stand, speak, breathe and sleep just how a Queen of England should. But there’s one thing on her training list that we didn’t quite expect – she’s learning to kick some ass!
According to reports, before Kate made it down the aisle as Prince William’s bride, she underwent secret SAS training to deal with potential kidnap threats. An insider from the palace explains:
“The Palace want to ensure Kate’s new status doesn’t make her vulnerable to attack. She has been well trained in what to do should the unthinkable happen.”
Obviously it isn’t so unthinkable. Otherwise why bother!
We’re told that Kate’s training was “very tough” and she was versed on a number of survivor skills – from how to speak to kidnappers in a hostage situation to how to initially react to an attack.
We guess they are good skills to have, but let’s just hope she never EVER has to use any of this training.
