Remember when all of those Kelly Clarkson songs leaked this summer?
We were all confused, because none of it sounded up to Kelly’s standards.
Well that’s because none of them were. The songs were only demos, and most of them were years old!
The incident obviously didn’t make Kelly a happy camper. Upon her return from Tahiti, she was pissed!
And now she’s talking about it, describing it as a robbery:
Oh my God, have you ever been robbed? I have. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been physically robbed a couple of times, but this is much worse. There are songs out there that are from eight or 10 years ago. People are always asking me to write for other artists. They├óΓé¼Γäóre awesome songs, [but] they├óΓé¼Γäóre just not songs I would normally sing. Those songs came out and people are like, ‘Oh my God, what direction is Kelly going?’ I think what made me mad was that: 1) People stole from me, and 2): Everybody had no idea what my next album was going to sound like. That really caused a lot of confusion. Here├óΓé¼Γäós the best part though. Nothing that├óΓé¼Γäós leaked is the final version. Those are all demos. I don├óΓé¼Γäót even have [the new album], by the way, because I├óΓé¼Γäóm so freaked out to put it on my computer.
Good to know we can look forward to REAL new songs. We knew those old ones couldn’t be off your new album! They just didn’t sound like ya, gurl!
