Oooh lawd! Here we go AGAIN!
About a month ago, we told you Lindsay Lohan was falling short of her court-ordered community service hours.
She has 360 to complete (260 at the Downtown Los Angeles Women’s Center and 100 at the morgue). About a month ago, she had clocked in 45.
And now? She’s only at 60!
According to an insider:
Lindsay has completed about 60 hours at the Downtown Women’s Center. Lindsay hasn’t done any time at the morgue. Lindsay has completed her shoplifters awareness class but is falling behind on her other commitments.
Lindsay’s team is telling her she needs to log significant time to show the judge that she is working towards completing her hours, but she is ignoring them.
The judge has told Lindsay in the past that she will not accept any excuses whatsoever for her failure to complete her community service, period. If Lindsay was smart, she would work to get those hours done.
Lindsay’s rationale is that she has a year to complete the service, so she isn’t concerned about it right now.
GIRL. This is not a test where you can attempt to cram everything in the night before.
This is time. If you wait too long, you’re literally not going to have enough of it to finish and Judge Stephanie Sautner does NOT play!
Her publicist says she is working hard to juggle “making a living” and meeting her court-mandated obligations.
Umm, there’s a difference between making a living and raking in an unnecessary amount of cash. The people down at Trader Joe’s are working hard to make a living. LiLo seems to be working hard to keep up with the high life.
The only thing more ridiculous than this mess is her father commenting on it the way he does.
Michael Lohan spoke to reporters and said:
While she is beautiful I am concerned about her community service at hand. Her lawyers and I have done all we can to keep her out of jail and the last thing in the world I want to see is her to get violated. I just want to see her back where she was at the best part of her life. The only way she will accomplish that is if we as a family put our differences aside and heal these wounds. This is not something a band aid can fix.
First of all, what does her beauty have to do with this? THIS is why her priorities are so out of whack. Her mentors were obviously holding vanity at the top of the totem pole as she grew up.
And second, you always have to find a way to bring yourself into this, don’t you? If you really wanted to heal her wounds, you wouldn’t be a puppet for the tabs! Just another piece of dirty laundry to hang on the line…
