Even More Seasons Of Dexter? Showtime Head Says It Could Happen

Dexter was thought be donezo after its next two more seasons but Showtime’s David Nevins doesn’t want to close the door on even more of the hit show.
As the sixth season ended, Deb caught Dex killing the villian but she also admitted she love him. Nevins has hinted that Dexter may not be alone for too much longer.
But with the divorce, how would that love stick?
Nevins stated that Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are still on good terms and he thinks audiences will “figure into the dynamic.”
The Showtime chief commented on the possibilty of the show ending and its future:

I think there’s a very clear trajectory now of where they’re going. I think it’s going to help to write with that endgame in mind. I’ve been pushing to shake up the formula a little bit. I think there should be fundamentally different dynamics now.
