We guess it’s true when they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Even if the beholder is the Mexican Vampire Woman!
Check out this pretty fascinating, albeit slightly terrifying interview with Maria Jose Cristerna, a former lawyer who has dedicated her life to body modification, including tattoos, titanium horns, dental fangs, and facial piercings, at the Venezuelan Tattoo Expo (above)!
As she explains:

“My body transformation has been a part of taking my taste to the extreme. Life is short and sometimes we waste it on many things, so I’ve chosen beauty. And for me it’s beautiful to be this way, so that’s why I do it.”

Well, then there you have it!
If she’s happy, then good for her!
And she’s certainly more Vampire than any of the sparkling embarrassments that came out of Twilight! Ha!
