We’re still recovering from all of our excitement in last night’s Super Bowl halftime show!! Madonna was ah-mazing!!
And M.I.A.?? She pissed a lot of people off!!
Not as scandalous as Janet Jackson, she flipped the camera off during the halftime show. Something she hadn’t done in rehearsal (obvs)…
So, as the angry phone calls pour in, the NFL and NBC have both issued apologies:
NFL: The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans.
NBC: We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime. It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late.
And we wonder… why did she do it?? Was she just rebelling?? Or was she pissed off at something??
