What a cool poster… and what a great way to both celebrate 65 years of the Cannes Film Festival, and remember the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe‘s death!
Marilyn was one of America’s most famous sex symbols and starred in several commercially successful films in the 50s, so it makes complete sense for them to do this.
Here’s what the Festival said:
“Fifty years after her death, Marilyn is still a major figure in world cinema, an eternal icon, whose grace, mystery and power of seduction remain resolutely contemporary.”
