How do you even know what’s in it??
The screenwriter for the upcoming HBO movie Game Change, which is about Sarah Palin in 2008 (played by an uncanny Julianne Moore), really wishes Sarah would watch the movie before she started bashing it.
Just because she has no idea how it’s presented is no reason for her political action committee to NOT release video and statement slamming it as being ├óΓé¼┼ôfiction├óΓé¼┬¥ filled with ├óΓé¼┼ôthe half-baked truths and fabrications of the liberal left.├óΓé¼┬¥
And guess what?
They even offered to screen it for her, and she turned it down. It’s easier to jump to conclusions that way!
Here’s what the screenwriter, Danny Strong, said:
“Everything in that video is in the movie. If they would have seen the film before they attacked it, they would know that we have dramatized everything that they put in their video that Sarah Palin supporters are proud of. She really is a dynamic person that did a lot of amazing things for that campaign.”
And here’s what HBO said:
“Game Change, the book, was applauded by audiences and pundits on both ends of the political spectrum when it was released in 2010. The events depicted in Game Change have been thoroughly sourced by not only Heilemann and Halperin’s bestselling book, but also through our own research including extensive first person interviews with those involved with the campaign. HBO has a long track record of producing fact-based dramas, and our mantra has always been, ‘get the story right.’ We stand by our movie and we hope that people will withhold any judgment until they have viewed the film.”
Don’t be such a soggy grape (the crunchy ones are WAY better), Sarah! Give it a chance! Especially since it’s being praised by people who were on BOTH sides of the campaign, and the book itself was acclaimed!
Everyone who is interested will just have to wait and see if anything she’s said is founded or just a whole-lotta-knee-jerk on March 10th!
