It’s a funny thing when celebs insist on privacy, yet they put their lives on display for the scrutiny of the world.
We├óΓé¼Γäóve recently been reporting on the split between Jennie Garth and soon-to-be ex-husband Peter Facinelli – a separation the couple have expressly wished to keep to themselves.
Well, we’ve just found out that Jennie has signed on with CMT to produce Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country, a reality series that will follow the former actress as she exchanges the bright Hollywood lights for a more simple, country life in Los Olivos, CA.
Jennie will take on a 7-acre farm in a move that the network notes could either be invigorating, or disastrous:
“It’s a move that will either give her the all-American lifestyle she has always dreamed of or turn her family’s world completely upside down.”
Apparently, Jennie has always been a country girl at heart, growing up on a ranch in Southern Illinios.
Well, we hope this works for you Jennie, and doesn’t destroy what’s left of your family!
Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country premieres April 20 on CMT at 9 p.m. ET.
