Keira Knightley In Talks For Nicholas Sparks Film

It’s another modern romance for Keira Knightley!
We’re used to seeing her in period dramas, but after completing the contemporary film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World with Steve Carell, the actress is now in early talks to star in Safe Haven, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel.
The film, which will be made by acclaimed Swedish director Lasse Hallström is about a young woman with a dark past who arrives in a small North Carolina town. The film focuses around her relationship with a widowed store owner and his two children.
It’s interesting to see Keira in more contemporary pieces. This is certainly a shift in her career we’re enjoying!
