While it may be controversial, we can’t deny SKINS was something unique among teen television, and it breaks our heart to say goodbye to the WHOLE SKINS family…even those we’ve been missing for years.
Why are we so enamored by this series?
Was it the Britishness? Perhaps, as the US version didn’t even get past season 1 (well…it was just…AWFUL).
Was it the intricate, relatable, interesting characters?
Was it the edgy, creative music choices?
Was it the thrilling plot lines and boundary-pushing situations we were riveted by each season?
Or was it all the (above) combined – the whole SKINS entity in itself, that we love so much??
It’s hard to say, but all we know is that it’s going to be even harder to say goodbye…
But chin up! There may be slightly more SKINS on the horizon. There have been rumors of a triplicate of 2-hour SKINS specials re-visiting characters across all seasons, airing sometime in 2013.
