Just this morning, we broke some rubbermade hearts with the news that Axl Rose will NOT be attending this Saturday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guns N’ Roses induction ceremony, for lengthy reasons chronicled in an open letter.
Now, the rock institution has responded to the slight diss, saying:
“We are sorry Axl will not be able to accept his induction in person. We are looking forward to still inducting Guns N’ Roses this weekend and will proceed forward with our original plan whether Axl is present or not.”
While Axl may not be part of the honor celebration, Slash and Duff McKagan are still expected to show.
Where will you go now, Axl??
