Hmm…what could be going on here?
Seems like improving the X Factor U.S. ratings this upcoming season isn’t the ONLY thing Simon Cowell should be worrying about!
Once again, the U.K. version of The Voice has beat out Simon’s Britain’s Got Talent this past weekend!
The Voice brought in an audience of 10.7 million viewers on Saturday…its best numbers to date!! Britain├óΓé¼Γäós Got Talent, on the other hand, drew only 9.6 million viewers, but still improved 7 percent.
Though both shows do not air at the exact same time, there IS a 20 minute overlap when they both go head to head, with this week, more people deciding to tune into The Voice.
Looks like this overlap has had an effect on BGT, seeing as its network, ITV, will be moving back the start time of the show this weekend so it doesn’t directly overlap with its competitor.
One thing BGT can be happy about though, is that they have the higher peak audience…coming in with 12.9 million as opposed to The Voice├óΓé¼Γäós 12.1 million!
Hey, you win some, you lose some, right, Simon?
