Last night during CinemaCon in Las Vegas, studios, including Disney-Pixar, made some SUPER exciting announcements about projects in the works!
First off, if you LOVED The Muppets, then you are in luck because the studio has officially confirmed a sequel! No release date has been announced, but as with the 2011 film, it will be directed by James Bobin!!
Pixar also announced some other projects in the works, including The Good Dinosaur, whose plot line revolves around the question “what if dinosaurs never became extinct?” The flick will hit the states on May 30, 2014!
The animation mavens will also be tackling a more “inventive” film, which takes us on a Magic Schoolbus-type ride through the human mind! The untitled movie will be brought to us by the producer of Up and will hit theaters June 19, 2015!
As for yet another untitled flick? The team behind Toy Story 3 will take on the holiday Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)!!! No release date has been set for this one but we are SO excited!
The crew over at Disney-Pixar sure have a cray cray busy couple years ahead of them, but we can’t wait to see these films come to life on the silver screen!!!
