Well, Thank you, Mr. Veep!
It seems that President Obama’s historic pro-marriage equality announcement Wednesday came a tad prematurely (HAH!) due to Joe Biden’s recent pro-gay marriage remarks on Meet The Press.
The Pres. stated on Good Morning America Thursday:
“I had already made a decision that we were going to probably take this position before the election and before the convention. [Joe Biden] probably got out a little bit over his skis, but out of generosity of spirit. I would have preferred to have done this in my own way, on my own terms… all’s well that ends well.”
We are obviously BEYOND beaming after hearing the Pres├óΓé¼Γäó position on marriage equality…
But it’s not just about giving gay and lesbian couples the same rights as straight couples, this is about the much LARGER issue of seeing each other as fellow human beings!
While we are all individuals who have vastly different tastes and preferences, we are all still members of the human race and the ONLY way to maintain peace and progress is via global, mutual respect…
