Andre 3000 As Jimi Hendrix Biopic Was All A Lie!!

At least for now…
After getting uber excited by the promise of a Jimi Hendrix biopic starring Andre 3000, it seems our reaction was premature!
Experience Hendrix, LLC, the family owned institution in charge of the late music legend’s estate has halted all production having to do with the flick, rumored to be called All Is By My Side.
The group released this official statement:

“Various media outlets have recently published accounts that indicate a feature length Jimi Hendrix biographical film is nearing production. Experience Hendrix, LLC, the family-owned company entrusted with safeguarding the legacy of Jimi Hendrix and administrator of the Jimi Hendrix music and publishing catalog has made it known many times in the past that no such film, were it to include original music or copyrights created by Jimi Hendrix, can be undertaken without its full participation.”

Womp womp! But that does’t mean there won’t EVER be Jimi Hendrix picture – just not as soon as we’d hoped!
Ah well…
