While the internet has been rampant with rumors that Robert Pattinson may be cast as the incredibly seksi Finnick Odair in the big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, the actor has confirmed that he HASN’T even been offered the role!
He explains:
“I woke up this morning and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, ‘No…no one’s going to offer you that part.’ I was like, ‘Thanks for the reassurance.'”
Ha! Yeah, exactly what we thought!
That would be some SERIOUS cross-branding!
OR…maybe just a brilliant way to secure those hold-out Twi-hards who won’t open their minds to the brilliance that is The Hunger Games?
Sigh. Well, at least now the role is open for our beloved Zefron!
