Ryan Reynolds IS Highlander

We knew he was THE ONE!
Ryan Reynolds has officially accepted Lionsgate’s offer to become Connor MacLeod in the Highlander reboot.
He’ll star as one of the last Scottish swordsman fighting other warriors for complete immortality and he’s gonna look damn sexy while doing it!
Since Deadpool and The Green Lantern didn’t really pan out, this will be RyRy’s THIRD stab at becoming the face of a successful franchise. He’s SUCH a talented and hard working actor, so we’re crossing our fingers that this works out for him.
His pretty face is in qualified hands too. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the guy who helmed the impressive horror sequel 28 Weeks Later, is directing.
That’s a solid combo, don’t U think?
We can’t wait to see how much Ryan’s swordsmanship has improved since X-Men Origins: Wolverine!
