Oh, man. When did this turn into a discourse on the sociology of sexuality?
The cast and crew of Magic Mike discussed their experiences making the film and attending male strip clubs in preparation of shooting.
Director Steven Soderbergh went real deep — if you catch our drift!
He claimed:

“The role of fantasy for men and women is different… Women go [to strip clubs] with their friends, where men often go alone. Men dream of having some kind of relationship with the stripper… but I don’t think any of [the women at clubs] look at these guys and go, ‘I’ll throw it all away for this person.'”

Uhh, is there a test at the end?
Thankfully, Joe Manganiello wasn’t afraid douse Soderberg’s intellectual fire!
He countered:

“Anything a man does in a thong is funny…There’s no male objectification. I just don’t think it exists. Men, what do we care?”

Thongs — good! College level discourse — meh!
Got it!
Channing Tatum is more responsible for this film than anybody and he was intrigued by the gender politics.
Channing said:

“[In movies about women,] a large part of the time, her power comes from her sexuality, and that has done something weird in society where women think their power is their sex, that their sexuality that is empowering them to be strong women, and that a complete falsity.”

Alex Pettyfer noted differences between the sexes a well.
After admitting his pubic region was irritated for weeks during filming, he confessed:

“Oh my god, I don’t know how women shave.”

Yes!! The people demand more manscaping details!
Does this mean there won’t be a sequel??
Matthew McConaughey wants NO part of it!!
He revealed:

“One time is enough for me.

Ugh. We’ll pretend U never said that, LOLz!!
