Boyband One Direction has seen an enormous amount of success in both the States AND overseas, but sometimes — as we├óΓé¼Γäóve seen in the past with other groups — success is just not enough to keep some members from going solo!
The fact that all the members of One Direction originally auditioned for X Factor UK as solo artists has put doubts in the minds of some about whether they’ll last without any egos getting in the way!
1D member, Liam Payne, was recently asked in an interview if he in particular had any thoughts about pursuing a solo career!
Liam responded:
“Erm, not really. I think it would be massively, massively boring! I don’t know how Justin Bieber does it, but full props to him. I like being around the boys. I enjoy other people’s company and it’s a lot more fun being in a band on stage.”
Directioners, you can breathe easy for now! LOLz!
Of course, we’re certain the Biebs isn’t lonely or anything on OR offstage, but we guess he doesn’t get to experience that same camaraderie as he would if he were in a group.
Liam went on to say:
“There’s so much work in this industry that if I had to do it on my own, I don’t even know what I’d do. I’d be very bored and very boring!”
Sounds like the guys really are pretty close…though, we hope they don├óΓé¼Γäót view their singing career as all work and NO play!
Guess it doesn’t hurt to have some bromance fun timez while in those boring meetings from time to time, ha!
Only time will tell if One Direction lasts the test of time, so for now, enjoy it while you can, Directioners!!
