Even though Chris Brown and Drake were quick to attack each other during the infamous NYC club brawl last June, they’ll have to work together to defend themselves against the people suing them for their actions.
Both R&B artists have been named as defendants in a $16 million lawsuit from Entertainment Enterprises Lt.d, a company connected to joint clubs Greenhouse and WiP.
The documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court want the boys fighting over Rihanna to pay up for “gross negligence,” “ultrahazardous activity” and “intentional illegal acts” after “each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards” and then “began to fight violently with each other.”
To make the situation worse, the suit claims:
“Each ordered his security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourage to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale … On defendant Brown and and defendant Drake’s instructions, their two posses had at each other, throwing highball glasses laden with alcohol, shattering the handles of bottles of spirits to use as makeshift knives, and even throwing full bottles at each other. Within seconds, defendants filled an already packed nightclub full of flying glass shrapnel.”
Shame on these two guys if that’s how it really went down!
We don’t believe violence is ever the answer, but if you think it is, at least fight your own battles and don’t make your friends do it for you.
There’s a reason tough guys in movies always say, “Let’s take this outside.”
