Phew!!
We don’t know what beef was between Big Medium Al and My-Way-Or-The-Highway Matt, but it looks like they grilled it up and ate it!
Cameras caught Matt Lauer leaving the gym yesterday and quizzed him on the TODAY dramz but the anchor was not fazed one bit.
Remember when Al threw Matt under the bus last month for, uhh, throwing Ann Curry under the bus?
Matt got, that, dirt off his shoulder like it were nothing! He dismissed the bad blood between them as “rumors”!
Apparently it’s all good on set!
Yeaaaaah, we aren’t sure we’re feeling the love behind the scenes, especially with the suffocating pressure of a ratings slip!
Matt insists it comes with the territory!
He revealed:
“We feel the heat every day but we have for the last 20 years that I’ve been there… We’re just trying to do the best show we can do every single day … and I think we’re doing a good job right now … and I think the cycle will reverse.”
You’re doing a good job, we agree!
Except for botching Olympic coverage, skipping yesterday’s moment of silence, and the unwarranted Ann dismissal.
