Awww Taylor Swift has totally courted the favor of Kennedy matriarch Ethel Kennedy!
Even though rumors imply some of the Kennedy clan are NOT huge fans of the RED singer — especially after she unintentionally ‘crashed’ a Kennedy wedding this summer! — it seems the grandmother of her current beau Conor Kennedy is totally Swifty smitten.
Ted Kennedy Jr. recently revealed:
“[Taylor and Ethel] love spending time with one another. They are fascinated by each other. [Ethel] is a very open person to people of all generations. She’s a very welcoming person. She and Taylor have a genuine friendship.
I think Ethel makes [Taylor] feel very at ease. Taylor lives in a world — she’s obviously achieved incredible success, and for people who live in that world, some people just like to hang out and relax and let their hair down. I think Ethel makes that possible.”
Sounds like kindred spirits to us!
But beware, Ethel. A Swifty scorned is a musical beast unleashed. If you piss that girl off she’ll probably write a song about it!
Seriously though, it’s adorbs that Lady Tay is becoming so entrenched in Conor’s famous family. And if she ends up marrying Conor, not only will she be a pop-country Queen, she’ll be political royalty.
