Though Breaking Dawn: Part 2 will mark the end of an era, author Stephenie Meyer confirms she may end up writing more in the future.
The goddess of our inner teen’s idolatry says:
“I had planned out where it would go for a couple more books, so I know exactly what would happen. There are other characters that I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories. Maybe someday I’ll write it out, just for myself. We’ll see. I’m not in to permanents so I wouldn’t say no, absolutely. I’m not going to do it today. I don’t know how I’m going to feel in five years.”
There’s hope! That’s all we needed.
Now, we’re sure Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are ready to embark on different adventures, but who knows! Maybe in time, if their characters come into play again, they’d be down for a reunion romp!
